The Selfa SFT 5.1 MPPT accepts DC voltages between 160 V and 1000 V. At summer temperatures, the string Vmpp must stay above 160 V. At winter temperatures, the string Voc must not exceed the absolute DC limit of 1100 V. The matcher calculates these temperature-adjusted checks automatically.
Yes — the Selfa SFT 5.1 is compatible with any solar panel brand as long as the string voltage and current stay within its electrical limits. Panel brand does not affect compatibility. What matters is that the string Voc at coldest temperature stays below 1100 V, Vmpp stays within 160–1000 V, and total current stays below 20 A.
