The Solar Stack catalogue is available to partners as a read-only HTTP API: the same PV module and inverter specifications the calculator on this site runs on, delivered as JSON for your own product to compute with.
4,340 PV modules, 1,875 inverters, 149 brands and 1,535 mirrored manufacturer datasheets — the figures the API reports for itself, live.
Everything a string-sizing calculation needs, and nothing behind a scraper: open-circuit and maximum-power voltage, short-circuit and operating current, the temperature coefficients and the module's insulation rating, the inverter's MPPT window and its per-tracker current limits — including the case where the trackers differ. Each row links to the manufacturer's own datasheet. Search ranks brand, model and series together, so "longi 435" finds what you mean, and an incremental parameter returns only the rows that changed since your last sync.
Software that has to know real equipment: design and quoting tools for installers, marketplaces that list panels and inverters, calculators that need specifications behind the dropdown, procurement systems matching what a distributor actually stocks. If you are maintaining an equipment table by hand, this is the work you can stop doing.
Create an account on this site, then write to us with the address you registered and a sentence about what you are building. Access is granted per account: once a quota is assigned, an API keys section appears in your settings and you issue and revoke your own keys. There is no charge today, and no card to enter.
Each account gets a daily request quota and a per-minute rate limit, and every response tells you how much of the day is left. Cache the results in your own systems — that is what the quota is sized for. Do not redistribute the catalogue as a dataset of your own, and credit Solar Stack with a link where our specifications appear in your product. The full terms are in section 7 of the Terms of Service.
