AEG is a German electrical engineering brand established in 1883 by Emil Rathenau, with photovoltaic modules produced under license by Solar Solutions AG and distributed from Frankfurt am Main. The AEG High Efficiency Series, including the AS-M144(X)*-H(M6) range of 144 monocrystalline half-cut M6 PERC modules (166 × 83 mm cells, 445–455 W), pairs multibusbar (MBB) cell architecture with 3.2 mm tempered front glass and anodized aluminum frames in silver or black. AEG solar modules are certified to IEC 61215-1/-2:2016 and IEC 61730-1/-2:2016, and produced under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems, with verified PID, ammonia, and salt-spray resistance for harsh installations. Each module carries a 25-year product warranty and a 25-year linear power warranty, with 0/+5 W positive power sorting, a 20 A series-fuse rating, and 1000 V maximum system voltage suited for both residential rooftops and commercial photovoltaic arrays.
AEG specializes in monocrystalline PERC half-cut photovoltaic modules built to German design standards and licensed under the historic AEG brand for European residential and commercial solar installations.
