S-Energy Co., Ltd. is a Korean module manufacturer whose photovoltaic work began in 1992 as an energy team inside Samsung Electronics, became Samsung's first in-house venture in 1999 and was incorporated as S-Energy in 2001. The company is headquartered in Seoul, runs its module plant in Daejeon and sells through subsidiaries in the United States, Japan and Chile. Its crystalline range rests on two platforms: the 166 mm SL45 and 182 mm SL65 families of MBB half-cut PERC modules, offered in silver-frame (MAI, MAJ), black-frame (MCI, MCJ) and all-black (MBI, MBJ) versions from 360 to 550 W, and the bifacial dual-glass BDI, BDJ and 210 mm BDL series reaching 665 W. The 2023 generation added n-type TOPCon — SL65-54TDP and TEP at 410-430 W, SL65-72TDP at 555-575 W — with a 30-year linear performance warranty. S-Energy also has a long building-integrated record in Korea, including the country's largest BIPV installation at the Federation of Korean Industries tower, and its modules carry IEC 61215, IEC 61730 and UL 61730 certification alongside ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.

S-Energy specializes in PERC and n-type TOPCon modules for rooftop and utility projects, including bifacial dual-glass and all-black versions, as well as building-integrated photovoltaics.
