Axioma Energy is a Ukrainian brand of inverters, batteries and backup power equipment, sold through its own online stores and Ukrainian solar retailers. Axioma Energy inverter range

The ISPWM models (1–5 kW) combine an inverter with a simple PWM solar charger; the ISMPPT BF, BFP and DOU families (1.2–12 kW) use a maximum power point tracker (MPPT) instead. Small units run on 12 V batteries, the 6–12 kW models on 48 V. For grid-tied homes there are single-phase AXGRID string inverters of 6 and 10 kW and the ISGRID 15000, a three-phase hybrid.

What Axioma Energy is known for

Power cuts. Most models run a house from a battery when the grid is down and recharge it from the sun or the grid. The trade-off is low solar input voltage on the off-grid models, which limits how many panels one unit takes.

Matching panels to an Axioma Energy inverter

The first question is PWM or MPPT. An ISPWM unit connects the panels almost directly to the battery, so its solar input tops out at 55–105 V: one or two panels matched to the battery voltage, not a long string. The 6–12 kW ISMPPT DOU GW units allow 500 V and track between 90 and 450 V, so with 50 V panels a string ends at about eight once you allow for voltage rise on a frosty morning.
