SILA is a solar equipment brand for the Russian market, presented by its seller as a joint Russian-Chinese scientific and technical enterprise set up in 2011. Its products are made at large factories in China and Taiwan and adapted to Russian standards and climate, and they are sold through Russian retailers with a local service center. The SILA ULTRA off-grid inverter-chargers listed here come in 8 and 11 kW versions (ULTRA 8000MHTD and 11000MHTD). Each combines a battery charger, two solar charge controllers and an inverter in one housing, so a house can run from a battery bank with or without the grid.

Both ULTRA models allow 500 V per input and track from 90 to 450 V, with 27 A per tracker — enough for a string of 210 mm-cell panels. In Siberian or Far Eastern winters the cold-voltage rise is larger than usual: at −35 °C a 41 V panel can reach about 48 V, so ten in series (roughly 480 V) is the ceiling and eleven would exceed the limit.
