AE Solar Solar Panels

AE Solar is a German solar module brand founded in 2003 and headquartered in Gersthofen near Augsburg, Bavaria, with its own module assembly and a distribution network across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Its best-known engineering feature is a patented hot-spot-free cell design: a bypass at cell level stops a shaded or cracked cell from overheating and damaging the rest of the panel. The current METEOR line uses N-type TOPCon cells in bifacial glass-glass laminates — CMER-108BDE at 490–510 W for pitched residential roofs, CMER-132BDS at 610–630 W, and CME-132BDS at 710–730 W for commercial and ground-mounted arrays. All three series give roughly 80% rear-side gain and a power temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C, which keeps summer losses moderate. Modules are certified to IEC 61215 and IEC 61730.
