Kopp (Heinrich Kopp GmbH) is a German electrical engineering company founded in 1927 and headquartered in Kahl am Main, Bavaria. With around 550 employees and more than 7,000 catalogue items, the brand is best known for switches, sockets, adapters and smart-home systems sold through electrical wholesalers and DIY chains across Europe. Since the 2020s Kopp has also offered a photovoltaic range — modules, inverters and storage — built by OEM partners and sold under the Kopp name with German warranty support. The module line covers monocrystalline half-cell single-glass panels from 385 to 550 Wp, including the KOPP-385Wp with 120 PERC half cells in a black anodised aluminium frame. All modules are certified to IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 and ship with a 12-year product warranty and a 25-year linear performance warranty down to 83 % of rated output.
Kopp specializes in electrical installation equipment and rounds out its catalogue with OEM-built monocrystalline PV modules, inverters and storage for German residential rooftops.
