München Solar is the house brand of München Energieprodukte GmbH, a German photovoltaic wholesaler in Essenbach, Bavaria, that has supplied solar panels, inverters and battery storage across Europe since 2013. The panels are built for the brand by contract manufacturers rather than in its own factories — the nameplate templates in its datasheets name Wuxi Suntech Power and Tongwei Solar — and reach installers, dealers and online shops alongside inverters and batteries from Growatt, SofarSolar, Solis, SolaX, Huawei, SolarEdge, Sungrow and Pylontech. The MSMD panel families cover three cell generations: mono PERC from 360 W, including an all-black shingled version and a busbar-free MWT version; HJT double-glass panels with up to 90% bifaciality; and N-type TOPCon panels up to 510 W. Beyond ordinary rooftop panels the brand also sells in-roof mounting systems, small-format and flexible panels and portable folding solar cases. Every MSMD panel is safety class II with an IP68 junction box, is certified for 5400 Pa of front load and 2400 Pa of rear load, and carries a 15-year product warranty with a 25- to 30-year linear power warranty.
